Ruth Christian died Monday 1 October 2007 in Adelaide South Australia after a short illness. She was 90 years old. Ruth was in the work in South Australia for several years then spent most of her life in the work in Austria and Romania. She came back to South Australia about 15 to 10 years ago because she was no longer able to carry her own bags and climb stairs and didn’t think it was fair that her younger coworker should do this (Australia having many more friends, cars and mainly single story dwellings meant this was not an issue in Australia). She was a gem, with the Spirit very clearly evident in her life.
Her memorial service will be on Thursday at 2 pm at Smithfield & Elizabeth Funeral Chapel, and then at the Smithfield Memorial Park.
